Who We Are

The founder of Nexus Legal Consultants, Hennie van der Westhuizen, started his career in the SA Police Service in 1986 and has years of experience as a crime investigating detective.

He broadened his horizons by gaining more experience in the field of Collections, Customer Debt Management and Credit Control & Legal in a Corporate Banking environment.

Hennie obtained his LL.B Law degree at UNISA and completed the highly regarded practical course in Legal Education and Development at the University of Cape Town. The Cape Judge President, the Hon Mr. Justice John Hlophe, admitted him as an Advocate of the High Court of South- Africa on 01 June 2007.

Hennie combined his years of experience as a police detective followed by 12 years of experience at one of the major Banks with his Bachelor of Law and formed Nexus Legal Consultants.
